Biography

Fred C. Jug, Jr. has extensive experience as a trial attorney and has successfully handled hundreds of matters, both at the trial court level and on appeal. Mr. Jug has successfully argued before the Common Pleas Court, the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Jug has represented clients in all types of civil litigation including personal injury, real estate, employment, automobile, medical malpractice, premises liability, construction, civil rights, zoning, product liability, Directors and Officers liability, condominium/homeowners law and discrimination. A native of Plum Borough, Attorney Jug has remained active in the community and has served as Solicitor of the Borough of Pleasant Hills since 2000. He has also served as counsel to various corporations and family-owned local businesses. Both his law degree and Masters in Business Administration were obtained while working full-time in a coal mine. Appointed by various Judges of Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County to serve as Special Master in real estate partition cases.

Brandt Milnes & Rea, P.C. is a general practice law firm with more than 70 years of industry experience in many fields, including wills, trusts, estates, real estate, corporate, social security, workers compensation, personal injury, and medical malpractice Ms. Burkhart has been an associate attorney with the law firm of Brandt, Milnes & Rea, P.C. since becoming licensed to practice law in 2005. Ms. Burkhart specializes in planned community and condominium law. Ms. Burkhart also handles wills, trusts, estates, real estate and collections. Ms. Burkhart prides herself on personalized representation of her clients. Ms. Burkhart grew up in Pittsburgh and obtained a Bachelor Degree in Legal Studies from Point Park College in 2000. Ms. Burkhart graduated from the Duquesne University School of Law in 2005 and served as a Senior Staff Member of the Law Review.

Gary Milnes, Esquire is a shareholder with the law firm of Brandt, Milnes & Rea, P.C. located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Brandt Milnes & Rea, P.C. is a general practice law firm with more than 70 years of industry experience in many fields, including wills, trusts, estates, real estate, corporate, social security, workers compensation, personal injury, and medical malpractice. Mr. Milnes has been an attorney with the law firm since 1981. His practice focuses on estate planning and estate administration, corporate law and real estate.

Education

Mr. Milnes was born and raised in Bellevue.  He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American History from the University of Chicago and a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Law.  He served one year as the law clerk to the Honorable Alfred T. Williams, Jr., President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
